Carlton is a AAAI & CrossFit Endurance Certified Personal Trainer and 7-year veteran of the U.S. Navy. Carlton is an avid triathlete, rock-climber, and proponent of non-traditional training methods and techniques. Below, Carlton demonstates two variations of his favorite core exercise, high and low planks. Planks are some of the best core exercises because they engage most of the muscles of the core but expecially the deeper muscles that help one maintain good posture and a flat stomach.
